A Deconsecrated Church and a Nuclear Bomb

Martin Donnelly and a Nuclear BombThe ‘Run launched last night, at one of its most unusual locations ever. A deconsecrated church with a decommissioned nuclear bomb in it!

Norfolk became home to the ’Run for one night and this year’s competing crews joined ex-flyers at the RAF Marham Aviation Heritage Centre. Over Champagne and canapés, crews met veterans who had flown all forms of jet and got an insight into flying faster than the speed of sound.

With so many new faces, and a great complement of those who had taken part across the years, the ‘Run returned for its 52nd outing.

F1 legend Martin Donnelly joined the evening as a ‘friend of the ‘Run’ and let everyone into a few secrets from the sport whilst making sure everyone had a great evening.

With a celebration of all things ‘Top Gun’ and jet engined, anticipation was running high as crews returned to their private accommodation for the evening.
