Beaujolais Nouveau 2020 est arrivé!

The 2020 Beaujolais Nouveau was released at midnight in front of the 'Runs competing teams. Although they had tasted it hours earlier there was no less ceremony for 'Runners. Lina, our German crew member was asked to carry their national flag and begin the German national anthem.

Crews sang 'God Save The Queen', The Marseillaise and supported Lina as best they could in German!  'Cllectif Métisse' a charted pop/DJ combo brought the house down with their high energy performance.

An evening of 'folies bergere' style entertainment unfolded whilst dining with the French vignerons and partying was followed by them taking part in the lit torch procession. Vine clippings held aloft they headed to finish the evening with dancing and fireworks.
