Mountains and lakes, a great day touring

In a new twist on their 'Great Escape,' the 'Runners had a days touring route laid on for them. From Lake Geneva through mountain passes, to Annecy and deep into Beaujolais country they found rewarding driving had been laid on wherever they went.

Over lunch in Beaujolais accompanied by red and white Henry Fessy wines the crews relaxed in the knowledge they were close to the release of the wines to be returned.

They then joined Henry Fessy at their vineyard to understand the winemaking process and taste some of the unique wines from the nine of the ten 'cru' villages in Beaujolais they own.

Out of special respect to the 'Run, Henry Fessy had obtained special dispensation for crews to taste 2020 Beaujolais Nouveau in advance of it's release at midnight. A special treat for all!
